These simple cheesy kale crisps are a great quick snack for when you fancy something savoury, salty, and crunchy but also want something healthy. There are only five ingredients and they are ready to eat in less than 15 minutes. I enjoy them on their own generally but they also work great crumbled up on top of popcorn or salad.
Be sure to watch the oven carefully, they are easily burned, as I know very well from experience!
Kale is awesome. Calorie for calorie kale has more calcium and iron than meat. Kale is also high in vitamins A, C, and K which are important for eyes, immunity, and blood. We try to eat some kale most days. We throw it in smoothies, stews, curries, salads, and eat lots of kale crisps!
Nutritional yeast is also awesome and full of B vitamins. We try to have some nutritional yeast most days.
If you try this recipe please let me know in the comments, I would love to hear from you! Thanks 🙂
Always gone too quickly but easy to make and a great way to get in some of the nutritional powerhouse that is kale!
