Golden mylk is not only delicious (and pretty!) but the turmeric in it offers great health benefits too. Turmeric acts as a powerful anti-inflammatory and helps to prevent DNA damage making it a great anti-cancer and anti-aging addition to your diet. I try to have some turmeric everyday and this drink makes for a great way to help do that. Even my 16 month old son enjoys this drink!
The ginger and cinnamon in this drink not only have their own health benefits but also add to the winter spiciness of this drink. The pinch of black pepper has been shown to improve the absorbability of the tumeric.
Obviously there is no caffeine in this drink either, so it’s great as a bedtime drink or to replace your coffee or tea if you are trying to cut down on caffeine.

An easy to make, cozy, nutritious, and delicious drink.
- 1 mug plant milk
- 1/4 tsp tumeric
- 1/4 tsp ginger
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1 pinch black pepper
Put all ingredients into a pan over medium heat and whisk until well combined.
Whisk periodically until fully heated.
- Sweeten with a liquid sweetner, such as maple syrup, if desired.
